SENIOR PIPING DESIGNER
·       Key Projects: Participated in the expansion and upgrading of the plants quality and production.
·       Assisted in executing various projects by identifying tie-Ins, field routing pipe through pipe rack areas from process equipment using CADWorx and Isogen modeling.
·       Lead a group on doing an Impact Study on up and coming lifting and handling of heavy materials over pipe rack areas. This study used isolation valves in the various process areas using P&ID’s, Isometrics & Piping Plant Drawings.

C & I Engineering, Louisville, Kentucky (2012 – 2013)

·       KEY PROJECTS:  Marathon Oil Plants (Wellsville, Ohio; Canton, Ohio; Kendall, Illinois)
·       Assigned to Mechanical Design Group to conduct field walk-downs and identify tie-ins for piping upgrades. Verified field conditions and checked for interferences to ensure feasibility of routing.  Created final drawings of routing and support design, submitting to site production for fabrication.

Florida Power and Light / Bechtel Engineering, Homestead, Florida (2011 – 2012)
SENIOR PIPING DESIGNER
·       KEY PROJECT:  Shutdown at Turkey Point Nuclear Station
·       Completed field walk-downs to verify modifications of the existing environment. Measured and created final piping drawings using AutoCAD. Used piping and instrument diagrams and specifications for the Turbine building area, collaborating with construction personnel on final installation. 
·       Upgraded small piping projects in the Reactor building area requiring keen knowledge and strict adherence to nuclear safety regulations.  Worked closely between contractors and design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.

·       KEY PROJECTS:  Ethanol Plant Designs (Siouxland Ethanol, Glacial Lakes Energy, Verson Hankinson)
·       Developed 10, 50, and 100 million gallons per year standard equipment file by designing manufactured equipment using CADWorx software. Contracted to reroute piping and equipment.  Designed tank farm layouts with containment areas and equipment skids for portable ammonia loading.

·       KEY PROJECTS: Piping, Structural and Civil Assignments   
·       Led multiple design projects involving outages and shutdowns in all plants regarding design, design changes, and upgrades. 
·       Recruited to direct construction teams that included maintenance and outside contractors, soliciting bids and estimating projects up to $700K.  Created design proposals (from P&ID’s), prepared estimates, coordinated scheduling of contractors, and monitored safety compliance of crews. 
·       Consistently completed projects on time and within budget.
·       Resolved steam deficiency in the steam and condensate requirements for the APG section of the plant by upgrading from a 50 psi to 90 psi system that enhanced the utility requirements.
